FOR SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAMS

Delivery has slowed.

It’s not a strategy problem.

Something has shifted in your team.

The strategy is sound. The people are capable. Yet decisions stall, dates slip, and the team is burning out on rework.

KIVA is a structured 60-day engagement that identifies and removes what's blocking delivery, in weeks, not months.

WHAT WE HEAR.

The symptoms that bring teams to KIVA.

#1

Delivery has slowed without a clear reason.

When delivery slows despite clear strategy and capable people, the instinct is to add more oversight, more process, or a clearer framework. In our experience, this compounds the problem. The friction is rarely in the process. It is in the conditions around the process: how decisions are being made, whether ownership is genuinely held, and whether there is something unspoken that is slowing everything down.

The right first step is not a process audit. It is a conversation that gets underneath the presenting problem.

#2

Decisions are stalling or being quietly undone.

Relitigated decisions are one of the clearest signs that something is unresolved beneath the surface. It is rarely a process failure. It is usually a signal that alignment is missing, that ownership has not genuinely been taken, or that something in the team dynamic is making it unsafe to commit and move on.

These patterns do not resolve themselves. And they are almost never fixed by a clearer RACI or a better meeting structure. They require a different kind of conversation.

#3

The team are capable but not cohering.

A collection of strong individuals who are not cohering as a team is one of the most common and most misdiagnosed problems in organisations. The response is often team-building, a new operating model, or a change in composition. What is usually missing is something more fundamental: a shared understanding of what the team is actually for, and the relational conditions that allow people to work together with honesty and trust.

In our experience, the friction in these situations is rarely where it first appears. It sometimes sits at the level of the team leader rather than the team itself.

HOW KIVA WORKS

Three moves. 60 Days. Delivery restored.

Move 1: Diagnose

Two days with the full leadership team in the room. Not a survey. Not interviews. The conversation the team has not yet been able to have with itself. At the end, a clear recommendation on whether to proceed.

T+3 Days

Move 2: Align

Structured space for the team to surface what matters and work through it. We do not hand down answers. Two to three working sessions over two weeks. The work between sessions matters as much as the work in them.

T+2 Weeks

Move 3: Embed

We hold the team to its commitments and confirm that something has genuinely shifted before we close. We are visible during this window but not central. The team is running its own way of working, with us in support rather than in front.

WHAT KIVA IS NOT

Built for one specific outcome (delivery restoration). Not a fit for everything.

KIVA is not

Strategy consulting

We assume the strategy is broadly right. If the question is what to do, we are the wrong people.

KIVA is not

Transformation

Big Four-style transformation is for enterprise-wide, multi-year change. KIVA is the opposite shape.

KIVA is not

Therapy or team building

The work is professional, structured, outcome-focused. Teams come out with decisions made, not insights about themselves.
